Casa Montisola on the island Monte Isola is a chalet with three apartments, each with private and separate entrance and terrace. It is a typical rural house recently renovated, reachable by boat-(taxi) or by walking 300 metres to the ferry boat in Siviano.

Casa Montisola for 2 – 14 people

The apartments Terra at the ground floor and Primo the one at the first floor can host 4/5 people and are composed of spaciuos living room with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, a room with bunk bed or separate beds, a bathroom and a private terrace. The apartment Attika, about 60 square meters, has a bathroom, kitchen-living area with sofa bed and a bedroom. Attika is ideal for 2 or 4 people. Totally, you can enjoy this house with 14 people. The house is also equipped with 2 bikes and a kajak, available for the guests.

The huge 12.000 sqm garden by the lake is available for the guests to relax, and grants private access to the lake (different from the wharf where you arrive by taxi boat).

Casa Montisola is an evocative house, ideal for those who prefer relax, walking in the nature and hiking. You have to consider that the accomodation is only reachable by foot, and guests have to walk along a private path uphill (with steps).

The main village is at walking distance (5 – 10 minutes). In Siviano you can find everything you need for the daily shopping. Home delivery is offered for free; in the centre of the village there is also a bus stop for a tour of the island.

The pubblic ferry boat stop is about 300 metres away from the house (tickets to buy onboard): from there you can reach Sulzano or to have a tour around the island.

The rental fee includes the transfer from Sulzano to the Casa Montisola‘s private wharf, but ONLY ON ARRIVAL; when checking out, you can either choose the pubblic ferry boat (tickets available onboard) or a private taxi boat (around €40,00).

• Parking for the car is available. The guarded parking is located in Sulzano near the ferry boat bridge. The cost for parking is € 20, – per week.
• The taxi-boat transportation from the pier to the vacation house and back at the end of the vacation is € 50, – each trip, if desired. Otherwise the ferry to Siviano can be used and it is about 300m walk to the accommodation.
• The return journey is either by ferry or by taxi boat                             (it makes  € 50, -) and is to be agreed with the chauffeur.
• Pets are not allowed!
• Bed linen and towels can be rented for € 16,- per person and week
• A Baby bed can be rented for  € 25,- per week
• 2 bicycles and a kayak are available for free
